The past can't be rewritten

Rainy days are meant for loving.
Rocks are meant for lifting.
Time is meant for healing.
Smiling is meant to be seen.
Life is meant for living.
Work is meant for goodness.
Food is meant for cravings.
The gospel is meant to feed the soul.
Hearts are meant for selflessness.
Sundays are meant for peace.
Summer is meant for discovery.
Trials are meant for growing.
Crying is meant for sanity.
Laughing is meant for daily medicine.
Forgiveness is meant as the greatest gift.
Happiness is meant for everyone.

No need to say goodbye

The blind man took a knock on the door
The house that had been empty, the house full of nothings
As the orange hinges rusted open a lift of wind clipped his chin
He stepped inside to the open room
Broken stairs led to vacated bedrooms where the little girl once played
The remaining wood piles gathered together to pronounce their statement
While dust piles whispered turing the blind man's ear.
Old paintings latched on in attempts to prolong their evident death
Each gravitation took another narrow slice at the little life left
Each corner looked up to hear the hushed gossip
While the non-existent water rose to unhealthy levels
The smell tingled and played with sane mind's conscience
Leading the blind man to step through the back door

They say that home is where the heart is, well I guess I haven't found my home

As my mother referred to it, today was one of those red letter days.
One of those days that good things happen, you know like the holidays that are put into red print on the calendars.

The only problem was it was a kind of redletter-blackletter day.

I took a 5 hour AP test. I actually LOVED it. I thought it was extremely exciting. I enjoyed being the master of my own time and letting my mind creatively flow onto the pages of the testing booklet. Those essays were fun. I wish I had more time to do them, I could have developed them so much further! Although I am proud of my 3-4 pages for every essay, I must say.

A stressful drive to get asian lady to do my toenails was pretty fun too. I had to ask a random guy what town we were in and Shelly chuckled at my lack of intellectual phrasing. Needless to say, I now have a dragon named Norbert on my toenail.

Then I journeyed home to look at BYU results and found I made both A teams :) I screamed it through the whole house and Im way excited! Although a little confused....

The Acing Up! disney review was good. Minus the fact I couldn't cheer loud because it would hurt Brandon's head due to his recent concussion. But his friend that I met was very nice and we got along creepily and surprisingly well.

We can live like Jack and Sally if we want

Missing people is awful.

No matter who it is. It's never any fun. I sure miss my brother a lot. It makes me sad how much of my life he has missed out on! He hasn't seen me go on any dates, or ever drive, or dance at nationals, or take pictures of someone. I'm so glad that he is doing to Lord's work and I'm so proud of him, but talking to him today made me realize even more how much I miss him! Oh geez. What a fine lad. I love him.

You love like no human could

I will never be a tree
I will never look across the street
I will be the girl in the photograph
But I will never be the tree.

When I book a table for three.
Hoping for more faces then just me.
I'll order off the kids menu for that is all I need.
Oh, I will never be a tree.

I can't always sleep at night.
I don't even read between the lines.
I can take the trash out all by myself.
But I will never be the blue bird.

I will never be a tree.
We will never be a tree.
You will always be a tree.
