Life makes love look hard

Oh just ramblings.

The world was full of people finding their people.
It was all about finding your person.
Not a love necessarily, in fact I would say not at all but your person.
Without that person nothing else really seemed to have meaning.
Hansel lost his person to someone else and after awhile grew numb to the idea.

His person could be somewhere but everything else seemed strange without it.
Situational psychology makes people seem like no one is their own person.
Just shaped by what the environment holds for them.

Growing up is harder than anyone ever told me. So far it has seemed growing up just involves a bunch of feeling nothing, because there isn't anything to feel.

So let's set the world on fire.
we are young.

Someone please tell me.
Why don't I cry anymore?

22.3.12

Did you regret ever standing by my side?

People are good and sometimes that's a scary thought.
they don't mean to be rude, or hurtful, or come off as "too good."

People are scared and people put up walls. Sometimes the person who seems the most confident is actually very scared.
But all people are good and all people are just trying.

Everybody should be friends with everybody.
And not just 'hello' friends; the drive around-tell each other secrets-paint each other's nails-clean their throw up-laugh at stupid things-say random words all day-cry in a bathroom stall-friends together.

At least, that's how I want it.

You can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness

I think it's gotten well beyond the point of needing to graduate. I never thought senior-itous would take a toll this heavy, but I'm done. Done with:

  • High school drama
  • attendance policies
  • things like protests and protests against protests for coach wong, or whatever thing people don't currently agree with
  • 40 min lunches
  • knowing the same people for the past 6 years
  • being stuck in a place other people remember as "so long ago"
  • BS-ing homework for things that will never progress towards a higher education because I already know all the basics of what I'll learn in a class it seems I've taken 7 times, but need the credit for.
  • Walking in the commons
  • High school boys
This isn't to say I haven't loved high school, because honestly, I have.

But please.

Graduation come sooner!

Too in love to let it go

HAPPPPPY PI(e) day!

Today I celebrated by getting pie shakes with my besets friend. Then we walked around downtown Provo for a bit. That was quite nice.
AndI heard One Direction on the radio, Score.

  • Approx. $700 million in pies (approx. 186 million units) are sold in grocery stores every year.
  • 36 million Number of Americans who identify apple pie as their favorite
  • More than one-third of Americans have eaten pie in bed
  • At one time it was against the law to serve ice cream on cherry pie in Kansas.
  • Pi is the most recognized mathematical constant in the world.
  • In the Greek alphabet, π (piwas) is the sixteenth letter. In the English alphabet, p is also the sixteenth letter.
  • The first 144 digits of pi add up to 666 (which many scholars say is “the mark of the Beast”). And 144 = (6+6) x (6+6).d
  • Albert Einstein was born on Pi Day
  • Brenna Christen was born on Pi day.
  • The average American eats six slices of pie per year.

My 2 FAVORITE things. MATH! and PIE!

This day is truly amazing. This is my Ode to pi/Pie/(pi sign?)

Oh that I were a pie
I'd scream for the world not let me die
Before they look me in the eye
And cry a tear for me.

Oh that I might bring great joy
More than a red bright plastic toy
That I might taste better than soy
If only taste me once

Im Pi, Im Pi
for math I will die,
A legend no one can try
for the court systems have nothing on me.

Pie day, oh Pi day.
You could be in the song Friday.
But Rebecca couldn't say what came before, or after you
So you are just song-less, pie day.

Oh pie day, Pi day, this no longer rhymes.... day
so Pie day pi day. I love you so.

Pie :)

We are the champions

Too much is weighing on my mind right now.
Dance is over.
Nationals was wonderful. Best yet.

Even thought I didn't get any form of a scholarship a least I walked away a quarterfinalist in youth latin, a 5th place in pre-cham latin, a 3rd place in pre-champ ballroom, and a Championship win in both Ballroom and Latin medleys.

(even thought 99.9% of the people reading this don't know what that means, or the significance of any of it,) I'd say it was all well worth the work.

I am partnerless. I am team-less. I am dance-less.

I have so much homework to catch up on it's ridiculous. Don't know if it's even possible to keep my 4.0 this time.

I'm moving onto big things. momentous people won't be in my life anymore. Either because I won't allow them to toy any longer or because that whole college thing is glaring me in the face and it scares me to death.

I will have new friends, classes, people, everything.

One more week and then Im only high school student for one las term.

All that's coming up is  best friend's sister's wedding, wisdom teeth out, (morp?), my brother's wedding, spring break, graduation, senior ball, senior all night party, senior week and shirts, senior trip with friends, senior trip with family, cruise with extended family, and then moving out forever and starting the rest of my life.

whoa. overload. No wonder I am so sick today.

You've got that one thing

Okay people bear with me. (first off who knows if it's bear or bare? google seems to think it's the animal type but how reliable is google? after all Im on a "never returns fan-mail database and I've gotten 2 fantails in my life! so not-so-reliable)

ANYWAYS.....back to business.

This week is the week of all weeks. Can you guess? NATIONALS.

Floor time
2 medleys danced
Pre-champ latin
Pre-champ standard
Youth Standard
Standard Medley
Youth Latin
Latin Medley

http://www.lumbri.com/Ballroom-Competitions-and/Ballroom2011-03-10Nationals/Ballroom-2011-03-10-NatThur/16138752_j54tTj#!i=1212722664&k=YasxC
see if that works. That's me last year.

This year.... Im gonna look AWESOME. (or at least that is the goal.)

LAST nationals as a Youth competitor.
Last Nationals competing a medley. (whoa just cried a little bit typing that)
And whoa, could be, maybe, possibly who knows, my last nationals ever.

I PRAY I look like this:

but..... let's be real.

LOOK AT THOSE LEGS.

Okay back to rhinestoning and breaking in my latin shoes.

oh.... and the mounds of homework.

farewell.

When the light pressed up against your shoulder blade

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellent, therefore, is not an act, but a habit."
