Never in my life did I think I would do better at Latin then I did in Standard. Yesterday I made both latin finals that I danced in.

I danced the best Rumba I ever have in my life.

I took 5th in Youth Pre-champ and 6th in Novice Latin. I don't know the last time I've been so happy. I am so grateful when hard work pays off.

I'll find strength in pain

Sometimes I wonder if I love too deeply.

Maybe that's why I get afraid of getting too close to people.

People seem to leave. I don't like when they do.

I want a Grey's Anatomy speech.

I want someone to tell me they aren't going anywhere, even when I yell at them and I'm rude because they understand why it's hard for me.

I just wish people meant what they said.

Just like the day I met you

When my dream was shut off this morning I felt as if I was in Alaska. 

Time to think is needed, and to think takes personal time.

My brother asked me where I got my "Ladies Room" sign, and I'd forgotten it was the first time.

I'm ready to make new firsts.

Our hands not holding as we cross the street

I had quite the peculiar situation this morning. As my parents told me I could take someone along for a nice night of a certain blaring brass instrument my mind chose who without a second impulse. Immediately I thought: I better call and invite them.

Oh, to the moment reality beams across your countenance.


How strange it is to have your foundation disappear and not even realize it until you realize it. 

So there was this woman...

 and she was on an airplane, and she was flying to meet her fiancé seaming high above the largest ocean on planet earth. 

She was seated next to this man she had tried to start conversations, but the only thing she had really heard him say was to order his Bloody Mary. 

She was sitting there and she was reading this really arduous magazine article about a third world country that she couldn’t even pronounce the name of.

 And she was feeling very bored and despondent. And then suddenly there was this huge mechanical failure and one of the engines gave out, and they started just falling thirty-thousand feet, and the pilots on the microphone and he’s saying 

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, oh my gosh... I'm sorry” and apologizing. 

And she looks at the man and says “Where are we going?” and he looks at her and he says 

“We’re going to a party. It’s a birthday party. It’s your birthday party. Happy birthday darling. We love you very, very, very, very, very, very, very much.”

How fragile are the very strong

The greatest gift to receive in life is good people. 

It's not about compromising

Sweeping up the pieces they all form a pile.
A sock from an old game, a photo at a park, a necklace from a rainy day.
The collection seems to gather though I myself cannot.
When did that boy with the glasses disappear?

Alright. It's time. Im a senior. I'm a 17-teen something year old who has to decide what to do with her entire life.

Careers.
Applications.
Scholarships.
Deadlines.
College here I come.


And I will love every second on the way to it.

When I have grown a foot or two

HE. IS. HOME.

My wonderful, cutest ever brother has returned with honor from his two year mission in Canada. Oh how I have waited for this.

As we waited.... and waited... and waited to see him come down the escalators at the airport my body began to tense up. My senses were getting all jumbled and of course when I saw him I started to cry.

This kid, excuse me, man, doesn't even know how much our family has been blessed while he has been gone. We have grown so close and learned so much about the world and each other. So much has happened while he has been gone and it's strange to tell him about everything.

Hearing about Canada is wonderful though. What a great country. I hope his eh and bAg stay for awhile. He is the greatest. Ya know.

He has sent me here

Nothing is better than sitting on a couch with my zebra snuggie in place listening and taking notes on words from the prophet and apostles.

With conference the challenge of coming up with specific questions to listen for seems to always be given. The lord keeps promises, people. In this first session already two very specific questions were directly answered in the exact wording I gave them.
